Course Description
Evaluation in Corporate & Professional Technical Education is a course aiming to provide students with the essential knowledge on the basic components of evaluation. The course focuses on enlightening the students on how to prepare, execute, and present evaluation at corporate and professional levels. The course also offers information on the needs, benefits, and challenges towards the achievement of effective and efficient evaluation process at the corporate and professional level.
Course Objectives
The main objective of this course is to equip students with the valuable information on the components of evaluation at every stage within the society. The other objective is the application of the concepts of evaluation to transform the events within the society through relevant changes to the individual and organizational factors. Another objective of the course is to understand the needs, benefits, and challenges to the execution of quality and efficient evaluation process.
Context of this Course
This course focuses on the practice of evaluation at professional and corporate level. This is an indication that the course offers vital information for the execution of the evaluation process at both formal and informal sectors. The course offers overview, needs, benefits, challenges, biases or errors, and efficiency of the components of the evaluation process within the organizations. The course also covers evaluation and its relevant designs thus the opportunity to equip students with techniques in relation to the presentation of an evaluation exercise.
My Role in this Course
My role in this course is to contribute towards the achievement of the objectives of the course. This is through understanding the components and context of the course effectively with the aim of participating in the discussions appropriately and sufficiently. Another role is to ensure that I have the required materials for the enhancement of understanding of the course and its relevant objectives. It is also essential to attend lectures and discussion towards the achievement of the goals of the course. My aim as the instructor is to impart effective knowledge of the course to the student aim to be analysts in their future professionalism act. The course will be conducted through lectures, assignments, participation by students, projects, and final evaluation of the understanding of the concepts and facts. The course will run for three hours a week to enhance the opportunity in the completion of the objectives and course requirements.
