Measures should be set in place to constantly monitor competition in the industry and address developmental needs in Toyota vehicles so as to constantly be able to compete in the industry. External factors at play in different countries which form Toyota’s markets should also be considered and mitigation plans laid out to deal with potential threats. These may include political unrest which may affect markets, law amendments, international conflicts or sanctions, and unstable global economies. Task forces should be set in place to ensure that are able to forecast different situations and set in place to counter them.
