Final Case Studies Project Description and Scoring Guide
Overview
The final case studies will provide you with an opportunity to consider the differences in psychopathology between children and adolescents and adults. Throughout this course, you have been working on adult cases; you will now turn your attention to children and adolescents to address the early development of psychopathology. This project will provide you with an understanding of the psychopathology of, and improve your diagnostic skills with, individuals of different ages.
For each case you will read the developmental history and family background, reason for referral, assessment results, and issues in treatment, then answer the series of post-test questions. Each of your responses to the case studies should answer the questions thoroughly and meet each of the Project Objectives as stated below. Your responses should be at least 10 pages, excluding the title page, abstract, table of contents, and reference page. The paper must be double-spaced and follow all other APA formatting rules. Do not restate the questions in your responses.
