1) Identify a scientific concept, 2) Design a science activity to identify the notions that 2-3 children may hold about that scientific concept, 3) Write a report that outlines your findings on the children’s ‘alternative conceptions’ of the scientific concept, 4) Create and justify two activities that would engage students in an exploration of the scientific concept chosen.
