The assignment provides the opportunity to apply supply chain concepts, tools and techniques to an organization (public or private sector) and in so doing demonstrate the ability to critically appraise the supply chain strategy of an organization.
In relation to the organization selected for this assignment the student should:
- Clearly describe supply chain strategy of the organization,
- Demonstrate how the company manages the supply chain within its wider business and organizational context,
- Critically evaluate the factors influencing the company’s supply chain configuration now and in the future,
- Evaluate the strategic and operational implications of the company’s supply chain approach.
