Assignments
This is a team-based learning project. The collaboration among the members of the group will be conducted through the use of Adobe Connect. The participation of each member of the group will be assessed and evaluated as recorded by Adobe Connect.
Part 1 of the assignment: Data collection. Each team will work to gather data to document the stage in which each nation is set to achieve the first three Millennium Development Goals, as measured by the corresponding targets and indicators:
MDG 4: Reduce child mortality
MDG 5: Improve maternal health
MDG 6: Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases

The data collected will be posted to the Discussion Board by the chosen leader of your group, so that it is made available to all classmates. This data will be used to write Report 2.
Part 2 of the assignment:Each team will write a report in which the countries under consideration are evaluated.
Report 1 will be a team essay evaluating the achievement of the countries of the group in achieving the targets set for each one of the last 3 MDGs. Report 1 will be posted to the Discussion Board by the leader of the group, and submitted to the Assignment Dropbox by each student in the group.
Report 2 will be a team essay in which the countries under consideration will be compared and contrasted to other Caribbean countries with data reported by all the groups. Each student will submit a copy of Report 2 to the Assignment Dropbox. In the comparisons, please take into consideration common aspects, like total population, similar levels of GDP per capita, etc.
