For this assignment, you will write a 6-paragraph compare and contrast
essay.
Topic: Compare and contrast one aspect (area) of life or culture in the
country of your choice (not your native country) with the same aspect in the
U.S.
Examples of aspects include: education, work, social activities,
transportation, family life, food, or etiquette (how to be polite).
You must choose ONE SPECIFIC aspect — “life” and “culture” are too
general!
Research:
You can write some from personal knowledge and experience, but you
should use at least 2 outside sources (books, magazine articles, newspaper
articles, or websites). You MUST list your sources at the end of your paper.
