Prompt #1: You may choose to dive deeper into a theme we have explored in class. You may do this either by reading the full versions of the works that we have read excerpts of (e.g. Gregory of Nyssa’s The Life of Moses and Ibn Arabi’s The Bezels of Wisdom), or by reading additional works by these same authors. Approximately one-third of the paper should analyze one of the author’s you have chosen, one-third should compare and contrast with the other author, and the final third should engage in comparative theology—a re-reading of your own beliefs in light of the thinkers you have engaged.
