Compensation Issue Report

Choose a relatively current compensation issue and write a report about it. The issue should be about a Canadian organization, but is not mandatory. Check with the Course Instructor by email for approval. Examples of compensation issues can be found at www.hrreporter.com and www.worldatwork.com.

The objective of the report is to be able to identify a compensation problem in an organization, and determine why it has generated changes in employee attitudes and behaviour. Discussion of the issue should be supported with material discussed in the first half of the course. You do not have to create solutions to the issue! Delivering solutions to compensation issues in organizations will be a central component of the group assignment in the second half of the course.

The report should be a six to eight-page (1500-2000 words), double-spaced report. Proper referencing is required (APA style preferred).
