We will be writing about the material from chapter 5 on Conflict Styles, with one eye turned inward on our past and why you tend to engage in conflict with the style that you “automatically” use, and an eye turned to the future as you incorporate the other four styles into your repertoire. Describe what kinds of situations that each style might be your best choice. Use examples from your past. Conclusion Time to make an action plan. How will you change your life so that you can become more fluent in these other styles. What can you do to accomplish this goal of using just the right tool for the right job? The Help! I don’t need the gory details of the conflict here –just the basics, but mostly introspective parts you experienced in going through the process of forgivness nad reconciliation. If your neice or nephew asks you what to do about a similar situation, what three bits of advice will you offer. Show me that you understand the seriousness of the issues and have good things to tell others, now that you have taken a college class in this subject. OK then. Send it in as soon as you can. I’d think about the issue for a day before writing, then set aside about two hours when you are alert (or caffiened-up) and just pour it all out. Let it cool overnight, then edit and send it in.
