Term Paper
This is a persuasive/opinion paper. The paper should be at 4-5 pages typed (NOT including
the cover page and reference page). The paper will cover the following information:
Describe the current Correctional System in the US and California, and whether you believe it is working properly or not.
Research, compare and contrast the issues of social and moral inequities found in the correctional system.
Explain how you believe this impacts our society as a whole as it relates to recidivism and perpetuating poverty.
And provide your opinion of what needs to change to improve the situation.
Papers should be MLA format including a minimum of 3 different informational resources and appropriate citations.
