Students are expected to critically analyze and evaluate a criminal justice current issue covered in the assigned textbook, “Introduction to Private Security”. A typewritten 6 to 8 page paper is required (not inclusive of cover, abstract, and reference pages. The paper must be double-spaced, with (1) inch margins, using Times New Roman 12 point type. It should include a title page (format will be provided on BlackBoard), abstract (second page of paper), introduction, body of paragraphs with subheadings, conclusion, and a reference page containing at least 5 to 8 references. No less than half, of the references shall be from: academic journals or books published by an academic press. Page numbers to be placed at bottom/center of page. Cover page is not to contain “Running Header” and is not numbered. Abstract page should be numbered as “ii”, with no “Running Header” as well.
