Critically assess how you define ‘justice’. What are the significant issues surrounding its access and achievement in the Australian legal system.
In your answer, you should refer to the concepts and themes we have discussed in Foundations B during the session.* In each answer you should also use at least ONE example from MEDIA and/or POPULAR CULTURE to illustrate your arguments (you are not limited to those pop cultural texts we have discussed in class)
This assignment does not require a bibliography however it does require footnotes. Footnotes should adhere the the Australian Guide to Legal Citation.

The subject coordinator let us know that we only need to use the readings from class. I will attach pdf’s of the readings for “Access to justice”(Very important Reading, document titled ‘james and field reading’), “Images of the lawyer, legal practice, ethics and gender” (Sharp Reading), “law and culture – legal pluralism” (Legal Pluralism) and the rule of law (Zimmerman Reading).
The james and field reading is the most important and the others may not be necessary however I feel that these may be the themes that could be linked to the question.
