Introduction
In the study of populace, especially a group of people not known to the general society, many key aspects of that community may be of interest to researchers. The Tingunee is a grouping that has remained well protected from the things of the emergent world. Their cultural beliefs have been preserved over time and the community still upholds the religious beliefs that were in their society since time. The community can be viewed to avoid significant evolution effects and is able to adapt well to the changing human race. The presence of technology is not known to this people and the knowledge they poses like the traditional medication to that has enabled them to survive under the harsh conditions.
Goals of the research
Several goals will be covered in this research. The initial aim of the research is to determine the religious aspects of the inhabitants. The people have to have certain spiritual believes that guide them morally and prevent them from behaving in a certain way. The other goal is to evaluate their cultural believes. These are things that control the way a community does things. They include marriage rites, customs and way the people interact. The economic interaction in the community is also important to look at to determine the means of exchange and how they paid each other for goods and offered services. The other social interactions are also evaluated to determine the way the community spent it free time or interacted with each other in the social sense. The tools they used to toil and the instruments used to entertain themselves are also looked at in this area. The leadership of the tribe is evaluated to resolve the hierarchy of the tribe (Newson, 2009).
Research design
During the research, the researcher will study the agricultural habits of the group of people being studied. The people had crops that they grew for food or for sale to other people in the community. The way they obtained food through activities such as herding or herding are also looked at as part of the activities they did. The other are to focus on is the religious aspect of the group. The researcher should look at those beliefs associated with religion that the group believed in. this are important in the study design because they are not easily changed by time. The political aspect of the assembly must also be evaluated. Social interactions of the group should then be evaluated.
In the study design the researcher should look at the theories he has about the group. Read generally the information that the outside humanity has on the group. The researcher should then narrow down his research to a specific theory analyze the information he has acquired them to come up with a hypothesis about his research. When going to the field, the researcher should make open end questioners to present to the community so as to obtain information from them. The data may be from observation due to the language barrier. The researcher will be able to obtain the data from being in the midst of the tribe members and observing their daily activities (Revel, 2005).
Research strategy
The strategy that would be applied in the research is the use of questioners which are open end. The observer will fill them through observation to due to the language barrier. The presence of a translator would also come in handy as the researcher tries to communicate with the people. The translator is a crucial part of the research as he is the one who communicates to the people explaining to them the researchers’ questions. The translator also talks to the leadership to permit the researcher to conduct research. Paying the leadership with tributes will also facilitate the negotiations.
Data collected
The information obtained includes the instruments used and their daily activities. The crops planted by the group, the animals kept or hunted by the group. The sacred activity of group and some believes might be studied from them. The other activities not observed can be got from asking the members how they do them. This may be challenging due to the language and civilization gap. From observation the researcher will be able to see the tools the community are using, the mode of dressing and the way the members treat each other as part of the gender related research (Singh, 2009).
Concerns of the study
The major concern is the language barrier that may cause the research to be shallow. The other concern is being allowed by the leadership to research the community. This resistance may be taken care of by talking with the leadership before the research. The researcher may conduct a shallow research due to the short time spent in the community due to the funds committed. The researcher may also be concerned of how his presence will have an effect on the preserved community.
Conclusion
The aim of the research is to find out more about the community which was achieved through the questioners by the researcher and a visit to the community. The researcher was able to learn about the economic activities of the group and also the social aspects of the group. the concerns of the research are mostly based on the researchers interaction with the people which may alter their activities.
