After watching the clip and reading Chapter 2 in our text as well as the link in Week 3 folder titled, On the Job, answer the following questions. Describe the new international division of labor. Include in your response the following terms: deindustrialization, offshoring, outsourcing, maquiladora, and child labor. What actions can be taken to help promote fair trade?
Requirements:
Initial forum postings should be a minimum of 250 words. Each student must also respond to a minimum of 2 fellow students’ postings; each response must be at least 100 words in length. Responses to each question should draw on key concepts you have learned during the week’s reading. All written assignments must be in the student’s own words, and MUST include citations (in proper MLA format) giving the source credit for ANY paraphrases or direct quotes based on published authors’ work, and should be submitted error free.
