Diversity Techniques

In the text, Fifty Strategies for Communicating and Working with Diverse Families, the end of each chapter includes a section titled “What Teachers Can Do.”

 

From reading Section 3, identify at least two techniques you can use to honor and work with diversity in the childcare or academic setting. Describe how you will use each technique in the child-care or classroom setting. Lastly, identify how you feel the technique helps to develop an understanding and appreciation for cultural differences.
