Dutch Revolt

Write 800-850 words, typed double-spaced, 12 pt. font, normal margins, on the following topic.

The writers of the Dutch Revolt laid out many of the ideas that were later picked up by the American Founding Fathers and became part of modern liberalism. Edmund Burke also belongs to that tradition, at what is known as its conservative end. Summarize the main issues that the Dutch used to justify their revolt, and explain what aspects of it Burke would have approved, and what he would have disapproved.
