The essay’s thesis must present a formal argument
• Each source is formally introduced and summarized
• Each source presents descriptions and quotations. (limit the number of quotations)
• The conclusion summarizes your argument and explains the direct relationship between your thesis and the source’s thesis. You should include a source that disagrees with your thesis and explain the difference between the two thesis statements.
