Demonstrate an understanding of the origin and prevention of claims of discrimination based on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act of 1974, the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, and state worker’s compensation laws, and be able to analyze an organization’s potential exposure to, and develop a program for preventing, claims of discrimination based on disability; and be able to analyze and administer requests for leave, including correlation of such requests with responsibilities under the ADA and state workers’ compensation laws.
