Emotions – Critical Social Psychology

he aim of this position paper is to track your thinking about a specific topic through the process described above by writing 5 short pieces as entries in a blog:

1. A synthesis of and reflection on position paper 1, prior to any inquiry.

2. An exploration of the topic from the perspective pf mainstream social psychology, using some of the key questions generated by your group in the first group inquiry.

3. Your critical review.

4. An exploration of the topic from the perspective of critical social psychology, using some of the key questions generated by your group in the second group inquiry.

5. A final commentary in which you explain your process on inquiry and what you learnt about the topic. There might be some shifts in your thinking as a result of your use of notions from critical social psychology. However, it is also possible that you do not agree with the latter and instead, found good reasons to continue to use theories and methods from mainstream social psychology.
