Explain the central ambiguity in human nature described by three philosophers

Ambiguity (not vagueness, but a “complex” or double nature) has been a persistent theme throughout our readings this semester. For your final paper, choose three authors, and explain the central ambiguity in human nature described by each. First, explain what the ambiguity located by each author is. Second, how does the author suggest we should live in light of this ambiguity. Thirdly, synthesize these views to provide your own stance on human nature: is there a central ambiguity in human nature – if so what is it, and how must we live in light of it?
