I have designed a new facebook prototype for phone users but I don’t have enough time to write the paper. The prototype is a suggested example for our research paper. Please but in consideration the following points: Most people who continue to use facebook are either satisfied with the current layout or have no opinion one way or the other. For this reason the layout may not need a whole new design. It is a good idea to have the option to revert to the current layout. Most people access facebook on a phone. The design should be phone friendly. Every single person who had a problem with the design of facebook said that it was too cluttered. This may have something to do with the amount of things listed on the sidebar in combination with the fact that they are accessing the site via phone. The new layout home page should focus on only the most common tasks like posting statuses, uploading photos, messaging friends, and finding new friends. Extra features should probably be divided into their own screens. The most common reason that people joined facebook was friends, or a desire to stay connected. Features that facilitate communication between friends should take center stage. Please but in consideration Don Norman’s Design Principles. Please find relevant and new sources for this paper.
