This assessment task aims to give you skills in
1) Critically evaluating psychological research papers and expanding your knowledge of basic
facts about human decision making
2) Preparing an argument to justify research questions
3) Drawing conclusions based on quantitative analyses of data obtained from an experiment
4) Critically evaluating the method used to test hypotheses and suggesting better ways to
answer research questions
5) Presenting information in a manner consistent with the standards set within the discipline of
psychology (ie., APA formatting and referencing conventions)
