This project is designed to provide the foundation for an international business plan. Your team will perform some of the preliminary activities, normally included in the initial business opportunities proposal, that are crucial to decision-makers prior for planning the actual implementation of the proposed business idea. Each team has been assigned a country on which they must conduct research for the global business plan report. The framework for this project involves researching the feasibility of launching a new foreign business opportunity for the team’s assigned country and writing a preliminary report on the findings. How to Organize the Global Business Opportunities Business Proposal 1. A Cover Page containing Title of the project: Vietnam Title and section number for this course - GLOBAL Business (MG320-44) Semester: Fall 2015 Instructor: Janet Y. Flowers 2. A Table of Contents page which lists titles of each section in the report and the page on which the information can be found. 3. An Introduction/Overview – This section should be discuss the purpose for the proposal, state the product/service for which you conducted research to determine its feasibility as a global business opportunity for the company to consider a general statement about the areas/topics on which research was conducted [state this in terms of the modules that you worked on, including Module #1. Read the following section.] 4. The Body of the Global Business Opportunities Proposal must contain the information that the you gathered according to the instructions for the research modules which are described in the next section. (Note: your report may not include more than 2 pages of supplementary tables or diagrams. 5. Summarize a recent national or regional news article that has been written about the country. 6. Conclusion – Wrap up the paper by stating how the report accomplished the goal to provide information about the (state the type of information associated with each module) concerning the proposed product or service that they believe represents the most feasible global business opportunity for the country. (Note: Use a Search Engine to understand how to properly write a relevant and meaningful Conclusion to a report). Each topic discussed in the report must be distinguished from other topics by creating a descriptive heading. All information that is used in the report from (any type of) published sources must be acknowledged using both in-text citations and a Reference page at the end of the report.
