Globalization

Globalization
Globalization despite the region one emanates has greatly and adversely affected people in diverse ways (Hopper 87). This up to date is evident from the mere examination of order of numerous human entities. Globally, people’s culture has altered with time since some practices are being overtaken by the current living, which does not compromise the earlier ways of living. Because, the current generation is born in the era where technology is changing at a dynamic pace and imparts the way the present have to do their things. This even entails in brainwashing their young minds that no other way which is best other than accepting modernity, which is currently being approved by the peers they are living and mingling with in every facet of life (Morris 18).
Presently, due to modernization that has grown roots almost in each state globally, it has made people especially in the urban to co-exist together and yield to almost common way of living. This is mainly evident with the new generation born in that setting and do not have much time to stay solely with the people of their culture except their parents in a small family setting. The other extended people whom one can interact with are the people of diverse backgrounds, hence making them adopt other cultural practices from the other kids (Morris 15). These are the people whom one interacts with daily especially from shop attendants to even professionals in other social amenities where frequent is a must, for example schools. This interaction currently produces a generation that does not have a way of life or tradition that can trace where they emanate. Since, their behaviors and even thinking is more of modern and devoid of what their parent’s profess.
Currently, I have come to wonder how people from diverse regions, having diverse ways of life are able to forge their ways of lives and result to live together with the feeling of belonging. These people mainly emanate from a diverse ways of life with different skin color but they do not practice what their roots dictate except what they have forged due to their co-existence (Hopper 39). In some states, an aspect may imply something totally different from the other states being in a similar region. This is evident especially in the states that form blocks due to similar generalized language, for example European states usually share some common aspects that run conventionally especially in all what they do their things (Morris 16). This may differ with other states that despite the aspect being similar but have diverse connotations.
For example, Japanese usually when nodding their heads implies they are actively listening to what the other person might be saying or putting across. Diversely, this is not the same with Europeans where nodding implies agreeing with the other person on regarding the concept he or she is putting across. Nodding diversity may pose as a great challenge especially in the working place and yield misunderstandings and be a barrier to effective communication. Hence, it entails much understanding and having a clear expounding of what the other person from a diverse culture implies when a certain aspect is put across (Morris 19). Due to modernization, this has found a common ground especially to those people who have stayed together for ling periods to impact in each a sense of understanding each when making a certain gesture.
Cultural challenges are evident in the international level where a particular student especially in America may have a diverse perspective regarding to a certain issue (Morris 20). This is especially the way a thing is supposed to be in the state of study and how they undertake their traditions and convictions they keep. For example, Americans believe and uphold the perception that they have the power to control their future with the actions they do and have to be industrious to attain whatever they want in life, which is pleasure. Conversely, the French and many global states esteem the norm of living their life to their full but they do not hold much to material pleasure that makes Americans toil for in life. This does not clash with either Chinese or Japanese’s belief since they believe in working hard.
Cultural globalization has led to both positive and negative implications where in the current world numerous people from diverse regions have yielded in adopting some traditions of other states (Hopper 37). For instance, in the world of games where the origin of Olympics is Athens, but its fame and intriguing nature has prompted the world to participate in it. This brings states of diverse cultures that make them share what they have in common or diversity by having a show prior the starting of the main events. Similarly, in the ball games and the tournament they hold or host, since they entail diverse traditions characterized by certain unique aspects that define their origin and way of life. Negatively the distinctions that emanate from having diverse cultures and traditions brew misunderstanding (Hopper 106). This is especially in the mingling of certain people that are not ready to give in and compromise certain aspects that for understanding for instance, religion matters.
