GOALS

To complete this week’s S.M.A.R.T. goals assignment please include all of the following elements:

Step 1: Develop a minimum of 5 goals you either have or would like to have.

Step 2: Re-write each of your established goals from Step 1 using the S.M.A.R.T. Goal format; (See the example in the Quick Reference Notes in the VIP2 Toolbox).

For example:

General Goal: I want to lose weight

Transfer to S.M.A.R.T. Goal Format:

•Smart = I want to lose 10 pounds by increasing my exercise program

•Measurable = to fit into my favorite jeans

•Attainable = I will walk on my treadmill for 30 minutes each day

•Realistic = I will spend less time watching T.V.

•Timely = I will begin tomorrow

Step 3: Write summary of how re-writing your goals in S.M.A.R.T. goal format changed the way you look at the goals. Your summary should have between 250-500 words.

Be sure to include all three steps in your assignment.
