August 2007 – December 2007: Student Assistant for Chemistry Department at Butte College-
• Job involved grading laboratory reports and assisting students in solving problems involved in completing lab report on time, which will help students to clarify any questions regarding the concept being learned.
• Organizing and scheduling specialized training or seminars to enhance the overall ability of the department to perform in a sound technical and professional manner.
• Documenting department activities for the management, in a consistent and concise manner on a daily basis as part of my responsibility. These included the performance records and requirements for the chemistry classes.
• Planning, scheduling and coordinating all weekly activities within the Chemistry Department and ensuring routine regulation and maintenance of activities.
March 2001- March 2003: High School Chemistry Tutor
• Job involved helping 8th -10th grade students understanding concepts in Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics. In addition, I learnt different strategies of explaining concepts by tutoring fellow students.
• Guiding students on the requirements of the course and helping them with any problems, they have regarding their chemistry studies.
