You will be required to complete a 3-5 page analytical book review on Half the Sky. Although you will need to spend a bit of time summarizing the book, most of your essay should focus on analysis. Why is the book important? What does it teach us about feminism and feminist identities? How does it relate to larger themes of the course? What are the strengths and weaknesses of the text?
