Your task is to write an informative essay that focuses on one specific topic that is related to your major or that is of interest to you. In order to complete your task effectively, you will need to:
(a) research the topic thoroughly (i.e., conduct secondary research),
(b) provide sufficient and appropriate evidence to support your content,
(c) demonstrate specific academic writing strategies and organizational
methods.
Minimum assignment requirements
• You must use at least 5 good secondary sources: i.e., a mix of books, scholarly journal articles, reliable Internet sources, and any other appropriate resources. Please note that the use of primary research materials (e.g., interviews, surveys, observations) is encouraged but optional.
• The body (not including the cover page and the reference list) of the paper must be 5 pages (maximum 6 pages) with one-inch margins, double-spacing, Times New Roman 12-point font, numbered pages, and a stapled format.
• You should work on effectively incorporating headings and visuals
(e.g., graphs, diagrams, charts) whenever appropriate into your essay.
• You must include a cover sheet and a reference list on extra pages.
• Citations and references must be in APA style
