“How to set up your home wireless network” in the Readings folder for this week; Referring to the diagrams found in your text, create an appropriate network map of your home network. Show wired and wireless connections. Indicate the CAT x cable in use and the wireless speed (802.11a,b,d,etc). Indicate what devices are being used to connect, for example motherboard, USB, network interface card, Bluetooth, etc. Include all peripherals, iPods, tablets and phones. If you have your TV hooked up to the Internet (Smart TV) then show that as well. Describe where your main firewalls are. Do not show the status of your ports. Show IP addresses except for your router, Do not show MAC addresses. The paper will consist of the diagram plus an explanation page.
