How was Early Modern Western civilization (as it existed about the year 1550) different from the Medieval Western civilization (as it was around the year 1000)?

The essay must address the human relationships within Western society, the society’s view of the nature of the universe and how divine forces were perceived in western Civilization at each of these time periods. This essay should compare “snapshots” of Western civilization in the year 1000 compared to the year 1550. It should not trace the evolution of Western Civilization from one time period to the other.
