The reaction papers have three main goals. First, to promote critical thinking about the material, integrating the readings, class discussion, and lecture material. Second, to promote your thoughts and opinions on the class topics, helping you form ideas and take positions on victim issues. Third, to promote your writing skills. In the papers you are to take one of the topics we are discussing and write a critical and thoughtful discussion of the topic. These papers are intended to be brief (3 – 4 pages) and only need to use the material covered in class and writings (although you are welcome to bring in outside material if you wish)
