Mr. Herman Good Eagle is 56 years old. He is a Vietnam veteran from the US Army, and a university graduate from the University of Sudbury. He is a CPA Public Accountant, and married to a retired schoolteacher. They have 3 children: a 19 year-old boy, a 17 year-old girl, and a 12 year-old boy. Herman has worked at Dewey, Cheetum and Howe Accountants for the past 14 years. As you can see on the map, he lives on the reserve; his house is 1 mile away from the main highway.
Herman leaves home (driving!) at 8:05AM and stops for coffee at Tim Horton’s. He chats with his friends for about 10-15 minutes. If he stays too long, he can get stuck at the railroad crossing, and/or get stuck behind the school bus as it stops to pick up the kids on the way to school. This can cause him to be late by 30 minutes. Herman has already received 4 warnings for being late. If he gets another warning, he will be fired.
