Building on the group element, each individual member is required to analyse a firm competing in the industry the group has researched, and complete further analyses specific to that company. Each group member will analyse the same firm. The individual student is required to address the following issues in their Report:
• Critical analysis of how one of the key external environmental factors impact on the specific company.
• Analysis of three significant competencies and resources of the firm and how the firm leverages these for competitive advantage. As part of this analysis the student should
– Identify the threshold and core competencies and resources of the firm.
– Refer to the Industry’s Critical Success Factors.
