The purpose of this assessment is to provide you with the opportunity to
Describe how an inclusive teacher creates a classroom climate that supports social and emotional well-being of all students.

Explain how an inclusive teachers differentiates the curriculum to maximise participation, engagement and learning outcomes for all students
Examination and synthesis of legislative and ethical influences on inclusive education.

Communicate in a scholarly manner
To do this you will:
prepare a written submission that comprises of 4 parts (each part 500 words). You will submit it as one document through the turnitin link found in the assessment folder on L@G.
The Task
You will prepare a written submission as part of a job interview with a principal who is knowledgeable about and supports the value of inclusive education. Use the guiding statements to construct a written response to demonstrate your scholarly approach to teaching. You will respond to each statement separately. There is no need to write an introduction or conclusion. You may like to provide a short scenario of the target class (for example you may include some students you have met on prac) to focus your response but this is optional and is not included in the word count.

a. (500 words) Discuss how you will differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of this class. Justify your response through the use of peer-reviewed scholarly texts.
b. (500 words) Discuss how you will differentiate and implement assessment practices to meet the needs of this class. Justify your response through the use of peer-reviewed scholarly texts.
c. (500 words) Discuss how you will develop the classroom climate to meet the social and emotional needs of this class. Justify your response through the use of peer-reviewed scholarly texts.
d. (500 words) Discuss how you will promote collaboration with staff and between students in your classroom. Justify your response through the use of peer-reviewed scholarly texts.
This task is broken into sections as a way of scaffolding your assessment load throughout the semester. To complete this task you will need to
