As a profession, nursing requires individuals to be consumers of research, in other words, nurses are expected to be able to read and critically appraise research reports. The purpose of the major assessment is to introduce students to the important skill of critically evaluating research.
Instructions
Using the article provided, write a short discussion that highlights the value of the research articles to your topic area, Evidence Based Practice and nursing (approx 500 words). Then you are required to critically appraise the article that aligns with your chosen topic (2000 words).

P = poor = criterion not met; either not addressed or treated very superficially
