Information Technology: IT professionals face changing technology rapidly and with that they need training on new development tools and technologies continuously. Research on this problem to find the causes? What can be done?
• Write a proposal which includes:
o A justification of the topic. State why you think this topic is worth investigating. How might the information gained be used to make improvements in the area of business or industry.
o A description of the research methods.
• The manner of information gathering
• Questionnaires (oral, paper, email).
• Interviews (structured, open)
• Provide at least 2 sample questions.
• The population (visitors, hotel employees, members of the public)
• Sampling (random, accidental)
• Collecting the data
• Presenting the data
• Ethical concerns (ensuring privacy)
o Challenges. Mention any particular problems you might encounter as you conduct your research.
Report
The report should be about 500 words and include the following sections:
• Topic and justification
• Methods
• Challenges
Presentation
The presentation should last between 5 and 10 minutes. As well, you should use presentation software such as PowerPoint. Cover the main points of your report.
