Jazz Music
The artist who performed the mysterious is known as the Canadian brothers and sisters band. This was a popular hit that was in the early 70’s and 80’s and was always played across Europe matching with the great reception it got from the fans of the group all over. The type of jazz music that is illustrated in the song is referred to as the work song. It is worth noting that the work song is usually characterized with an upbeat as well as a rhythmitically fast model of music. They are in most cases unaccompanied upbeat rhythm tunes that are in most cases repeated constantly, like a chanting so as to make the time to move as fast as it can. The main purpose of the tune from how it is presented is to bring speed to the working class, and this is why it gets the name work song.
It is also important to note that the tune from the mysterious melody was to be performed in a certain place unlike having it played as a spiritual song. Work song tune as the one seen from the tune was to be associated with the daily activities of humanity. Furthermore, the work song is also characterized as being between two or four bars and it is usually accompanied by a rhythmic beat. A solo is the one leading the mysterious tune and others are heard following from the background in a chorus. This is usually referred to as a call and response pattern.
The mysterious tune of the work song as experienced is to create as well as maintain rhythmic beat in order to create order. The work place can feature people who may not be in harmony with the workplace environment. The tune can also be sung as a way of relieving the stress or pain that is encountered while working. This is why the rhythms of the songs are being played in subsequent flow. It is a piece that is closely connected form of work which can be used when one is conducting a song.
This was probably recorded in the early 70’s and 80’s. The harmonies from the jazz tune are therefore based on the 7th chords and this can easily be noticed through the progressions. A close observation of the jazz music also presents a state of improvisation that is followed by flat scales and intricate rhythms. In addition to the rhythm, there is a clear tone that comes out in the rapid beats in the work song which can also be attributed to saxophone and trumpets. The common feature which describes all jazz connotations can also be seen in the mysterious tune and that is the off-beat rhythm and improvisation.
In conclusion, it is worth reiterating that unlike much of common jazz music of the early 70’s and 80’s were known to be quite frightening but the one noted in this type of jazz is a welcoming connotation. The rhythm has been effectively crafted in order to suit the occasion to which it was meant to achieve.
