As explained in class and in the syllabus, keeping and submitting a journal is a course requirement for this class.
The journal should be a record of your own reflections about the materials, ideas etc. presented in class. The journal will be graded both on quality and on quantity. However, your journal should not exceed 10 single-space pages in length.
The journal entries could revolve around general issues such as “What are some of the key developments that will define business in the 21st century?” or reflections on the current financial crisis and the bailout or very specific thoughts about questions like “Why would people spend money to buy a new outfit for the Avatar in Second Life?” I would hope that your journal will not only center around one issue but that it will reflect your own ideas, concerns, and thoughts about the variety of materials presented in class. Obviously, there are no “correct answers” to this kind of assignment but I hope that you will recognize the potential of such a journal to further your own thinking and creativity.
Additional Materials will be needed.
