Karnaugh Maps
Submit this assignment using a Word document and using APA form using the instructions provided earlier for APA. (Title page, Abstract, Body, Cites page)
The Athens State Library has a lot of information on their Web Page as does
The Purdue Owl web site used in assistance on APA style.
You Must include your name on the Title Page Please.
You Must properly Cite all references of where you got your information on a Works Cited page. I will require 5 sources and 2-3 pages of written Body in your paper.
Properly document this information, if you have questions there also is a Writing Lab in the Library that should be able to help you if you cannot find enough information on their Web Page.
Again, there is a comprehensive web page for the Library that will help for APA assignments.
PLEASE Make sure that your name and date and Assignment Title are on the paper.
THE ASSIGNMENT:
Provide a 2 to 3 page summarization in the Body portion with NO Pictures.
(That means that I want 2 to 3 FULL Pages of written Body on this assignment),
And use at minimum 5 sources for your work. This paper should be in your own words and not cut and paste and change a word here and there, on the Topic of Karnaugh Maps.
Also as you are working on the K-Maps you might want to include a small portion of your paper about how the “Grey Code” numbering system as we discussed in class relates to the Karnaugh Map. This should help get you started.
Do Not cut and paste a bunch of Karnaugh Maps into the Body,
I will not count those as part of the 2 to 3 pages. You may use one (1) Karnaugh Map in an Appendix Page or as a “Figure 1” reference that relates back to your research information.
Again……I do not want a bunch of Maps as filler…. but I do want you to tell me in your own words (after researching) what a Karnaugh Map is and how it useful in solving Boolean equations. Remember that you MUST provide sources and YOU must put a name on the page.
