Leadership Statement

After going over my achievement and undertakings in leadership, my approach of personal leadership is addressing of challenges and control his or her operations with their juniors so as meet a set objective (Inflence people, 2011). How is it acquired? What follows is a precise account of what I attribute to the most vital qualities and practices of being a good leader.

  • Being well organized, clear and meeting goals for the group, being in control of the objectives at all times.
  • Getting everyone in the group and assisting them feel that they own the objectives, reinforcing the hard work of the members every time.
  • Doing some of the tasks of the group and bringing up a good example for them by completing a certain duty. At all times the aim should be positive and polite as well as encouraging.
  • Having the ability to lead others. In the process of the conference fear or any form of intimidation should not take over. One should have a sense of belief in meeting the set objectives. The group was able to formulate and implement a development conference.
  • Patience should be an attribute that one portrays as a leader and passing it to the others so as to achieve the best results.
  • Leadership calls for persistence, the lack of that vital push to meet an objective creates a sense of belief in the group.
  • Having an objective is the most significant of all things. This gives one something to work towards to. This makes one to make several plans and organize the group according in terms of skills and ability for the best outcome to be met. The lack of these aspects leads to confusion and failure.

It is on these attributes that my leadership was based on hence the acquisition of a well-organized conference results. This aspect has been forestalled by the members of the group. What I may try to change from my style of leadership is to develop my method of organization in whatever form of activity I am called upon to get involved in. in the beginning set of my leadership, I highly depended upon the organizational structures formed by some of my forerunners. I have now developed a feeling of confidence which has been it possible to form organizational structures that are more aligned to my personal desires, but would offer better structures for the incomers of any process that is embarked on.

My new goal would be addressing the issue in climate challenge that has become a great challenge for the whole world. Our climate is transforming and signs include warmer temperatures, high sea levels and wide range melting of ice caps (POWELL, 2011). The continued global warming presents a massive challenge for the accessibility of water, food supply, public health, the physical environment and other vital human aspects of wellbeing. The leading cause is well known; gas emissions that is as a result of human activities. I am to bring several leaders to the table to discuss this issue and find an amicable solution to it. It is challenging but with my determination, and cooperation from every member concerned, that I am set to meet this objective.

Each and every student will be involved as they are upcoming leaders. This would hence be a conference of the present and future leaders aiming to save the future. It is with great commitment that this conference would be a success from me and other members of my group.
