mandate in health care

The council appointed new representatives to step up its mandate in health care with each official set to serve in different capacities. The newly appointed officials have vast experience in their fields, and attained academic and professional qualifications. Prior to their appointments, some of these officials have been serving in the council at various levels while others have worked in related fields (Goldman & Roberto 496). The five appointees in the National and Safety Health include Lida Orta-Anes, Gary R. Rosenblum, James Johnson, Rixio Medina, and William B. Bunn III. James Jonson is the newly appointed management representative. He is also the group’s vice president, Workplace Safety Initiatives for the National Safety Council in Itasca, III. Rixio Medina is the general partner of Rixio Medina and Associations L.P. in Corpus Christi, Texas. Medina takes charge as the safety representative in the organization (Goldman & Roberto 496).
William B. Bunn III, M.S. J.D., M.P.H., is the vice president of health. He is also in charge of security and productivity for Navistar Inc. in Warrenville, III. Lida Orta-Anes, a PH.D professor at the University of Puetro Rico. He served at the Graduate School of Public Health Medical Sciences in San Juan, Puetro Rico (Goldman & Roberto 496). He will serve at the council as public representative. Gary Rosenblum, M.S., C.I.H, A.R.M., is the risk manager stationed at the City of Palm Desert, Calif. The National Safety and Health discusses diverse issue, which includes Mexico oil Spill cleanup, injury and illness prevention programs as well as recordkeeping. The newly appointed members join a team of seven members currently serving at the council. The 12-member committee meets twice a year. In their meetings, they discuss various issue regarding security and safety of humanity (Goldman & Roberto 496).
