Assignment 4–Media trends in the Middle East
Objective: To collect information on the media trend in the Middle East and write a research paper of 1200-1500words.
To achieve that:
1. Each student should choose his own subject
2. The subject should represent a trend in the Middle East media
3. Each student should do a research and collect the information from the Internet and other sources.
4. Your paper should be informative, focus on the topic and well structured (title, introduction, and body, and conclusion, references).
5. There should be a cover page which includes: the course name, the assignment’s title, the student’s name and his number, the teachers name and the date of the assignment.
6. The font should be Arial, 12 points, black with double spaces. Titles or subtitles will be bolded. The paper size should be A4.
7. APA Style of MLA Citation Style should be used for referencing
8. Copy and paste is not allowed unless you get a quote otherwise it will be considered as “plagiarism” which is not acceptable. If that happens, the student will get ZERO on this assignment.
9. The weight of this assignment is 15% of the total grades.
10. Your English should be correct and spill checked carefully.
11. If you use the internet, make sure that you use the complete link and it works. Make sure to mention the name of the writer if it is there.
12. You need to bring your final document in Word format as a hard copy.
13. Each student has to present his paper in class in 5 minutes using English for more discussion.
14. The due date of this assignment is 10 May 2015. Late submission will be panelized for 5% for each day for 4 days only and it will not be accepted on the 5th day.
15. The rubrics for the assessment will be with this assignment.
