this is the guideline for the paper: Research Paper Guidelines:
Each student is required to conduct a research project on a specific social problem in Turkey. The project consists of
1) going out into the field to observe one particular social problem of your own choosing and conduct interviews with people related to that problem.
2) writing a five to six page (double-spaced) paper exploring that particular problem. The final paper should
a) summarize your field observations and interviews (You can use brief quotes but I do not need the whole transcriptions of your interviews. You need to analyze your interviews and tell me what you can conclude based on your analysis of them, as well as your field observations.
b) briefly outline the general theoretical approaches to understanding and solving the particular social problem and
c) conclude by arguing which particular approach (in your opinion) is best suited to understand and alleviate the problem that is in question.
d) you do not have to use any extra material for this assignment. Class reading material would be enough.
