Term Paper Presentations and Final Dialogue

The term paper will consist of 10-15 pages analyzing a subject of choice that relates to Macromarketing. As Macromarketing deals with the impact of marketing on society and society’s impact on marketing, subjects of interest will include cross-cultural differences in marketing strategy. Examples include how to adjust marketing activities when marketing to the poor, how to deal with environmental risk due to a country’s environmental policies, or how quality of life marketing is related to cross-cultural characteristics. Themes will have to be approved by the instructor. It will include a literature review (mostly academic literature, some popular articles allowed), and, potentially can include a creative or research project. Discuss with your instructor. Each student will give a short presentation of her or his paper during the last class session. The class will engage in a final dialogue discussing the issues.
