WORKING TITLE
“Multiculturalism and Diversity effects on the project performance”
PURPOSE OF THE THESIS
This study will be designed to determine the different cultural aspects, and diversification of the people who are working in construction projects, and their contribution and influence on the project SUCCESS OR FAILURE.
AIM
Spot the light on multiculturalism that is associated with construction project, and view their pros and cons and how to eliminate its influence on the project performance.
OBJECTIVES
– Clear definition of MULTICULURALISM AND DIVERSIFICATION
– Pros and Cons of Multiculturalism, and its impact in construction projects
– Allocate the risks, uncertainties, and complexities that are associated with multiculturalism, and how to manage them to avoid delays and defects.
OUTLINE METHODOLOGY
At first a review of the existing literature will be mandatory to guide, and form the baseline of my paper. After that will be gathering data on Multiculturalism. Interviews will be built and conducted with practitioners and their reviews will be analysed and well-studied and compared to the literature to validate the concept and the objectives of the paper. Finally will come up with findings, conclusion, and recommendations that will illustrate the ultimate goals of the paper. This paper will be done based on qualitative approach of research.
ORIGINALITY/VALUE
This dissertation will concentrate exclusively on construction projects practitioners with different cultures, religions, backgrounds, and perspectives. The sample that will be used for interviews will be ranging from Middle East, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Philippines. Which help me to acquire the diversity of the population required in this paper, and makes the recommendations as beneficial as possible to all practitioners in my project, and for other users as a reference.
RESEARCH IMPLICATIONS
As mentioned earlier my paper will be analysed using literature, data acquired from interviews, and experiences as base for this paper. The sample included in this study is from the above mentioned countries. So more diversified sample and more detailed analysis for more cultural aspects, will be a good area for future studies since this subject with all its aspects is growing and becoming more complex on a daily basis because of globalization and many other factors.
PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS
This paper’s outcome is supposed to give a good indication on multiculturalism both pros and cons, and how to manage multicultural teams and work nature in a way to get the maximum benefit and to eliminate uncertainties and complexities that are associated with such projects. And apply these changes to the process to serve the projects main goals in terms of cost, time, and quality.

– My professor is so involved in this paper and he like to be exposed to each step in this paper so it’s better to keep me updated with your writing, and send me section by section to get the prof. Approval and proceed with your writing, otherwise he’ll not accept the any section and he’ll not mark the paper.
– The interviews you’ll build has to be related to the subject of the paper, and we have to get the approval from the professor before conducting these interviews
– Minimum 60 interviews are required to be done and analyzed, and used to come out with the subject matter and support the core value of this paper.
– Interviews have to be exclusively conducted with people from the following nationalities (Middle East, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, USA, UK and Philippines) since these are the nationalities that are working in my workplace, and these interviews have to acquire the diversity and controversy required to support the paper subject and the different perspectives of the mentioned nationalities, and analyze these data to come up with solutions and recommendations to deal with the associated diversification and multiculturalism issues gained from working in such environment
– This paper is based on qualitative approach
– Follow the same sections of the attached sample assignments, but has to come up with the subtitles of each section.
