My Generation and Those That Came Before It
There are numerous notable differences between diverse generations. Several factors are attributable to these differences. I belong to a young generation that registers significant diversities from other generations that came before it. This youthful generation experiences certain challenges that are attributable to the diversities. My young generation appears to be different from previous generations in the following ways. The fist way is the use of technology. The current generation displays intense dependence on technology. Previously existing generations could not access certain aspects of technology. This is why the previous generations could not embrace a continuous use of technology.
My generation uses technology in almost every aspect of its lives. Communication occurs through advanced technologies for this young generation. Older generations did not explore technology as intensely as my generation does. Certain elements of technology were non-existent during the time of the older generation. Other differences are from the clothing and general lifestyles that my generation undergoes. My generation explores more revealing clothing than the previous generations. Older generations had conserved lifestyles unlike my generation. The older generations ate foods that were less fatty than the ones my generation eats.
Another fundamental difference between these two generations is the personalities of individuals. People belonging to my generation are extremely liberal in all their endeavors. They allow certain aspects of their lives to be free. This suggests that people in my generation do not conform to traditional practices. Instead, they always seek to explore new ideas in their respective lives. Practices like homosexuality are readily acceptable by my generation. No one seems to consider these practices inappropriate in any ways.
My generation does not appreciate standards religious practices. It explores controversial practices like the gothic movement. Previous generations did not have such characters. Religious matters were almost holy and no one would wish to be adventurous. This is not the access with my generations. Another difference between my generations and others is the evident laziness that it displays. This is probably attributable to the extreme levels of technology. These technological advances ensure that my generation does not work hard, the technology works for my generation.
There are numerous possible reasons for the differences in the practices of the two generations. One possible reason is the level of innovation between the old and the youthful generation. My generation benefits from current and frequent innovations. It has complicated challenges that forces members of the generation to be extremely innovative. Other reasons include the growth that current generations face. The growth is obviously different from the ones that previous generations had. Older generations experienced slower growth than the current generation experiences.
The differences between these two generations could be from level of civilization in each generation. Past generations could not explore certain ideas that my generation explores. This explains why my generation is extremely liberal than the previous generations. The availability of options to explore challenging ideas for my generation equally explains the difference.
It is almost impossible for people to realize similarities in any generations. Time changes and in turn necessitates the evident changes between generations. No one should blame any generation for the actions that it displays. Instead, people need to understand why certain people of each generation display certain characters. When this happens, everyone will appreciate the diversities in any generation and in turn reduce any possible conflicts.
