Select something to evaluate: a movie, a restaurant, a book, a product. Use the examples in our textbook as models. For an extra challenge you could choose two items in the same category, evaluate both, and decide which is better. Remember the key components of evaluation. In your intro you should present the thing(s) you will be evaluating and state your claim of value in a strong thesis, as well as giving an a basic overview of criteria you will be using to support your claim. In your body paragraphs you should explore your criteria in more detail as well as presenting evidence to support the cirteria. If you are comparing two things, be sure to use the same criteria and similar evidence to evaluate both. All togther, the essay should be at least 1000 words.
