Organizational theories
Introduction
Researchers have embarked on researching the causes of job dissatisfaction and its relationship with the emotions of the employee and the employees’ personal life. This has led to the researchers intensively watching several organizations and all the workers to try to establish what causes job dissatisfaction and what can be done about it. This has led to the formulation of various theories by researchers which are based on job dissatisfaction. These theories are known as to as Organizational theories.
The knowledge and awareness of organizational theories is very helpful to a worker and can help him or her establish what causes job dissatisfaction to him or her (Boudreau 2004). The worker can later retaliate by trying to focus on solving these problems and in developing solutions to this dissatisfaction and in helping the employee develop a positive attitude towards work (Rousseau 1997). This knowledge will assist me to monitor my personal life and improve my working. Secondly knowledge of these theories makes people more efficient in doing their work and gives them more exposure to better working. It would teach me about what I need to better work better and to get to be a successful leader (Rousseau 1997). Thus this way my workmates and I will be more successful.
These models also assist me improve their management skills at my job thus they will improve on already existing management (Boudreau 2004). This will lead to better business profits at my workplace. It will also assist me to make better and informed decisions. This will be to the benefit of the fellow workers at my workplace. The knowledge of how moods and emotions influence the working rate, assist people to try control the moods while at work (Weiss 20002). This article also shows how to control moods and emotions so as to change one’s perspective toward work. This is by ensuring that one is a positive mood (Weiss 20002). This knowledge will assist in the improvement of my working levels. For example, I can control my anger and furious mood to ensure that I focus entirely on my work. This can also ensure that my personal problems do not affect my working.
These theories are based on improving the working rate and peoples attitudes towards work. The theory that people’s personal lives affect their working shows that most people’s jobs are based on their personal life. At my previous workplace there was a girl that quit her job due her stress. Families too make people at my previous throw away their jobs since. This is because they can’t balance their personal lives with their working (Rousseau 1997). The theory that a negative attitude towards work reduces people’s performance in their jobs has also been proven to be true. I quit my previous job since I never saw the need to work hard since people in that company were not being promoted for even as long as ten years. This ended up affecting me and my work. In the long run I ended up quitting the job.
Conclusion
This knowledge can help people improve their working since they will know how their work will be influenced by things such as moods and emotions. This can thus improve people’s incomes and interests in their jobs. This research has proven that it is possible to change the perspectives of people on their jobs.
