Planning a Party for Roadrunner Company
Road runner is a company that has a lot of success over the years. This is attributed to the credit that it has received due to customer satisfaction. The customers are the most important people in the running of a company. After the success, the management of the company has sat down and deliberated on the manner through which they will satisfy the customers. After shared thoughts they decided to please and reward the employees with the setting up of a party. This is very influential as it will play the role of showing the employees their importance to the company and thus an increase in morale is expected in the workers.
The party will be held in uptown New York. This is because the company has had very major successes and the employees that work at the company do not live at areas that are far from the headquarters. Due to this, the employees cannot afford to go far places. The party will be held at the Hilton which is a major and respected hotel in the United States. The Hilton was chosen due to the amount of class that it bears and taking them to the hotel would show more appreciation as compared to taking the employees to a low class hotel. This also shows respect for the employees.
The party is estimated to cost around 250 dollars. However, the employees are not supposed to be worried about this. This is because the company is sure to refund the amount after the party. After all it is a company planned party. Money and the total costs of the party are bound to be the company’s worry. The amount of money is however affordable to the workers. The company can work to building up the confidence of the employees in the manner that they can receive a small down payment to assure them of the increased salary advances from the party.
Date of the party
The party will be held on a major holiday and thus it is expected that some of the employees may not make it to the party. This is because they may opt to go to other places with their families. As much as the company intends to reward everyone in the party, it is however pleased to some extent that everyone will not be attending the party. This is because the lack of some people in the party would mean that a lot of the cost will be cut. However, the people that attend the party are sure to bring their families. This is because many families opt to stick together in the holidays and it is assured that all the employees and their families will be catered for (Davis, 2007).
Source of entertainment
In the party, music is one major aspect that will be considered. This is because it brings in the aspect of relaxation. As it is considered and known in many companies, working hard for success means that the employees need to put in a lot of effort. This is because minor work does not ensure the workers of success. The tiresome workers need to be relaxed and the change of environment to a sober and relaxed mood from the music is supposed to be a major aspect to put into consideration. The type of music that is bound to be played at the party is the kind that is cool and slow. An aspect to consider in this is the families of the employees will be considered and hence the relaxation is a major aspect to be considered. The music assists in the achievement of relaxation to the whole family that may have however seemed perplexed by the increased amount of time spent by the employees in the company. This music also goes as far as ensuring that the company tightens their bond and this is important for the emotional state of all the members.
Transportation to the venue
All the employees in the company and rather some have cars. This is due to the important aspect of getting to work in time. The cars are also imperative as they will help the workers and their workers get to the party in time. This is because it seems weird for any family which has an average of 4 people to reach the specified destination in time. The parking should be at the basement of the hotel. This is because the cars will be under spontaneous observation from the cameras that are set up in the basement. In terms of the physical support that the hotel will have on the cars is one that is extra special. This is because the company values its employees to an extended basis. It thus decided to pay for an extra guard to take care of the cars in the garage underground.
Theme
The theme of the party is that the achievement of success brings joy to all the people. This is because the party could not be held had the employees not given the effort that they did and thus the achievement of the goals to the employees. The hotel that the company has planned to set up the party is one that bears a lot of respect in the United States and other places all over the world. It is thus important to set up a proper place that the cars can be parked (John, 2010).
Dress code
The employees should ensure that they wear expensive clothes. This is because when they wear the expensive clothes they will seem presentable. Moreover, the wearing of these clothes ensures that the other employees notice the efforts of other people that may seem more decently dressed more than them. This serves as a general challenge to all the employees as they will have to work hard to achieve such clothes that seem more expensive than the ones that they wear. However, the fact that they have to do this for show out is a very poor manner of motivating the workers. However, the psychology aspect of the purchase of the goods makes the employees work harder to achieve the goals of the more impressive people do.
Others
The bar at which the employees are supposed to purchase alcohol is one that is open. Anybody has the ability to engage in a conversation with them though it may seem weird. The open bar may even be accessed by other employees that may give them tips of working harder even to an extent of motivating them. The bar will be open as the company will have paid for everything.
